Addison Road Community Organisation is delighted to announce the creation of a new opportunity for Indigenous artists to showcase their work during NAIDOC Week.
“There’s a lot of things going on in Australia. But we’re mostly doing it in silos and not doing it together. I set up YARN to end the silos and bring Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander and non-indigenous people together in a culturally safe place.”
Issues of racism and discrimination work like, and with, the virus we now fear. It’s an issue that cannot and should not be silenced on Saturday, March 21st. We will use all the tools we have available in a podcast that is made available through our Facebook page and website.

Days like today reinforce the wisdom that one of the greatest political acts we can be involved in is simply to be present in a place and remind ourselves and others we are part of a community that cares.
