Carlos isn’t here anymore. We miss him and we remember him. It’s a terribly sad thing when someone dies. Partly because they have never entirely left us. The larger their lives, the longer they live on through our memories and all they have done for us. Carlos Femenias was one of those giants in the heart. And Addi Road acknowledges his passing as something very significant and important today.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian visited Addi Road on Friday 6th November 2020 to see our food security and food rescue work in action.

By the time the day is finished, over 150 Latin American students will have come here seeking emergency food hampers. Despite its name, United for Columbia is becoming a broad communication point for students from all over Latin America who suddenly find themselves adrift and in need here in Sydney.
