Meet Jay, Team Leader at the Food Pantry. Jay has been a committed member of the team since 2017 after making a career change in favour of working to make a difference in the community.
“It has evolved fantastically, we are much more customer focused now and our goal is to make our customers day. We have reviewed our product offering and we have a lot more donors on board. We have a stable volunteer base with some key people who have been here a long time now and are very good at what they do.
“The reason I love rescuing food is because the amount of over-production is causing too much waste in the system.”
