We all know that trees soften the hard edges of the built urban environment, whilst sustaining a wide variety of earthlings that sooth our sensibilities. Yet… urban trees and their associated living habitats are misunderstood, when it comes to urban planning and the role living structures play in sustaining a sense of place and overall well-being.
