Taking our cues from the iconic cover for The Beatles’ Abbey Road, Addi Road has started work on a fresh visual project for the year. We’re kicking it off by celebrating Mardi Gras in Sydney!
Inspired by the #RacismNOTWelcome campaign, journalist and filmmaker Liz Deep-Jones has joined forces with top Australian photographer Tim Bauer to present an exhibition exploring racism and diversity in Australia through the lens of immigrants, refugees and First Nations people … questioning and demonstrating who we are as a nation.
Towards the end of 2020 our Food Pantry Manager, Damien Moore, reckoned he’d been working so hard the time had come to drag him away “in a straitjacket singing that Donna Summer song, ‘Enough is Enough (I can’t go on no more!)’. I mean, it has been a pretty full-on year.”
