Kerry and Mary. We spotted these two mischief makers on a break outside our Addi Road Food Pantry Marrickville.

Mary is our Admin Assistant; Kerry our caretaker at the centre. But the truth can now be revealed… inbetween their daily commitments the pair have been recording – in secret – a sonic tribute to the community centre: an electronic concept album called The Addi Road Psychedelic Peace Collective Experience (aka TARPPCE or ‘Tarppce’ for short).

The above photo is a just a test image for the album cover.

Song tracks include ‘12 to 4 (Food Pantry Hours)’, ‘The Multicultural Motivator’, ‘Anyone Want A Coffee’, and recent hits like ‘Camperdown Is Cooking’ and ‘Wednesday Night Lights‘.

It all ends on an explosive free-form enviro-jam called ‘170 Trees (Grow Here)’ with Kerry on drums and Mary playing the theremin and synthesiser.

We should have advance copies of the Tarppce album on vinyl (signed by Kerry and Mary) in the next week or so… RRP $40.95.

More news to come!
