Work opportunities and vocational possibilities for women as trainees and apprentices are in huge demand across Australia.

Addi Road and Tradeswomen Australia are combining forces to show how you can become “a Jill of all trades”, ensuring stable jobs, good money and portable skills that can gain women quality employment anywhere they go.

Tune in below to Dr Tanya Paterson explaining how Tradeswomen Australia and Addi Road are working together to inspire and help women to consider the possibility of becoming tradespeople and apprentices.

Tanya speaks with Kate Saap of FBi Radio’s morning program ‘Up For It!’

If you like what you hear, please come along to Addi Road’s Gumbramorra Hall on Wednesday and Thursday, 23 and 24 August, to get a hands-on introduction. Over the two days you will have a site visit, “an afternoon on Makita power tools” Tanya laughs, and sessions with Master Builders, trade brokers and others to give you a realistic picture as well as a taste of things. All for free!
