Presentation Summary: The City of Melbourne manages less than 25% of the total area of the municipality. Whilst there are well established strategies for public land, the pressures of development, climate change and an increasing population mean that the protection and enhancement of the urban forest within private property is more important than ever. David will discuss some of the initiatives that the City of Melbourne has implemented to increase greening on private property and some of the current and emerging challenges.
