In a year of bushfires, pandemic and recession, we think its more important than ever to focus on collaboration and community, and to support young people to work together and express themselves.
That’s why we are going ahead with this year’s Public Schools Arts Festival, with the highly relevant theme, Stronger Together!
We have replaced the traditional launch gathering and its live performances with an upcoming video of highlights from the awesome line-up of visual artworks on exhibition from our StirrUp Gallery from the 6th to the 8th of November.
Run in collaboration with the Inner City Teachers’ Association, Drawn to Seeing, teachers and volunteers, we’ve seen the Public Schools Arts Festival go from strength to strength since it started in 2015.
This annual event is an opportunity for young artists in public schools across Sydney to showcase their collaborative artwork – be it sculpture, drawing, video, painting, drama or music – in professional exhibition and performance spaces.
