Community Solidarity

As part of our commitment to social justice and the environment, Addi Road stands in solidarity with those in our local community who are working to make the world a better, greener, fairer place.

In addition to the programs we run directly and the heavily subsidised rent we provide for our tenant organisations on site we also regularly support community based campaigns that reflect the concerns and needs of the Inner West.

From the TAFE Community Alliance’s ‘stand up for TAFE’ campaign and Lock the Gate’s campaign against coal seam gas exploration on farmland, all the way to Fair Trade NSW, Stop WestCONnex, the Refugee Action Coalition, Rainbow Families and Save Marrickville – there are so many incredible groups that make our community the vibrant and diverse place that it is.

Our solidarity takes many forms, from holding fundraisers in response to global tragedies (such as the 2018 earthquake in Nepal and providing groceries from our Food Pantry to families in need through Mums4Refugees to offering meeting and organising spaces at little to no charge to community and activist groups.

How Can We Help?

Are you a non-profit organisation or local community group that’s out there fighting the good fight? If that sounds like you then get in touch – we’re always looking for new and dynamic groups to connect with and support.

From providing spaces for events and meetings at heavily subsidised rates to simply using our network to broadcast your message to new people and places – we’re confident we can be of assistance.

Drop us a line and one of our friendly team will be in touch.
