Community.a.Fair

Community.a.Fair is a free monthly event hosted by Addison Road Community Organisation to help connect the communities we serve with a range of local services, and an opportunity to relax and chat and enjoy music and food without spending any money.

Need help accessing government departments such as Centrelink or NSW Health? Maybe you’re looking for additional support to help make ends meet or need some advice about NDIS or health or aged care? Or maybe you just need somewhere different – and affordable! – to take the kids during school holidays.

Whatever the reason, you are welcome at Community.a.Fair.

Started in 2014, we’ve seen C.a.F grow to include over 40 different service providers, community groups, artists, performers and stall holders. From jumping castles and Bollywood dancing to vibrant discussions on mental health and community connections, there is something for everyone at Community.a.Fair.

For more information on upcoming events check out our Facebook page.

At a Glance

In non-Covid times, Community.a.Fair is held on the first Wednesday of the month from March to October, as a barbeque in front of the Food Pantry, except in the school holidays,  when C.a.F is held in and around Gumbramorra Hall and celebrates important community themes like NAIDOC Week and Youth Week.

This year, we are pleased to be able to offer a Community.a.Fair Week: a series of free, Covid-safe activities that combine the themes of Youth Week and Mental Health Month.

Entry, activities and refreshments at C.a.F are always free.

This year, for public health reasons, bookings are required.

Where & When?

Community A Fair runs monthly right here on site at Addi Road whether it be rain, hail, or shine (some conditions do apply of course).

You’ll find us at the Gumbramorra Hall and outside on the Gumbramorra Green where you’ll be met with stall holders, activities and all sorts of entertainment.

If the weather is looking rather gloomy then simply check our Facebook page on the day to find out if we’ve got alternative arrangements in place – otherwise you’re good to go!

Bring Your Family
& Friends

Community A Fair runs monthly so bring your family, friends and even your favourite four legged companions and make a day of it.

With new stallholders, service providers, entertainment and activities every time and a free sausage sizzle provided by us here at Addi Road (and don’t worry, if you’re vegetarian we’ve got you covered) there is always a reason to pop down and say hi.

Become A Partner Organisation

We’re always looking for new service providers, community groups, artists, food stall holders and performers to get involved with Community A Fair – after all we’re only as vibrant and strong as the community we represent.

If you or the group you represent is interested in engaging with us then simply fill out our online form here and one of our team will be in touch.
